Dr. Roman Rozencwaig

Roman Rozencwaig, M.D. is a pioneer in research on Melatonin and Aging. After extensive study, he was the first to postulate a theory that aging was a syndrome of melatonin deficiency resulting from the gradual failure of the pineal gland. This paper was published in 1987 in Medical Hypotheses, and this hypothesis has blossomed into extensive research from scientists and his peers the world over. To date, over 4,500 scientific papers have been published on the multifarious implications of melatonin.

Dr. Rozencwaig’s research work is expanding, and he has been treating many of patients with his administration of melatonin. These patients vary from those with types of cancer, including cancer of the lung and prostate, as well as those with Lou Gehrig’s disease, Alzheimer’s, AIDS, heart disease and stroke. Dr. Rozencwaig has appeared in various TV documentaries both in Canada and the U.S., and has authored many journal articles. Roman Rozencwaig, M.D. is currently in private practice in General Internal Medicine, Allergy, and Family Medicine in Montreal, Quebec, and is on the staff at Reddy Memorial Hospital, Bishop Medical Centre, Montreal.
